Job Description: Role : Mainframes Dev – CONNEX on IBMLocation : Toronto, ONDuration : Long TermMainframe Assembler / Domain: Card and PaymentRole Description:

• Design, develop and maintain Mainframe Assembler, COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements for CONNEX on IBM payments switch application.
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
• Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle Participate in production support Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts associated with application components.
• Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development
• Experienced Mainframe Developer with 8+ years of experience.
• Expert knowledge in CONNEX on IBM Payment switch application development.
• Should have coding experience in Assembler, COBOL, DB2, JCL. Should have strong payments domain knowledge.
• EMV messaging and ISO8583 message formats
• Desirable Skills: Banking Domain knowledge.
• Experience with application design, development and deployment.
