We are passionate about connecting our local partner farms and suppliers to our customers’ kitchens while eliminating food waste and costly retail overhead.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The Logistics Specialist will manage the flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics systems and processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently.Here are the responsibilities of this role:

• Manage all shipments by coordinating with logistic partners to ensure all delivery deadlines are met and escalate challenges appropriately along the way
• Analyze quality reports and weekly logistic data to make related process improvement recommendations that improve the overall delivery experience for our member
• Continuously collaborate with production, shipping and member happiness teams to ensure delivery success
• Develop, implement, improve and maintain efficient systems that ensure that all deliveries are reaching the customer on time and in proper condition
• Develop, deploy, and monitor new value-add logistic initiatives
• Manage and monitor the flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers
• Develop and implement logistics plans and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and other service providers
• Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time delivery and cost savings
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of records
• Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers

Warehouse operations and staff management:

• Assist in supervising and managing warehouse workers, sorters, and other support staff
• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, including inventory levels, and quality

Requirements:Requirements and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Knowledge of logistics systems and processes

• A natural communicator – You can explain information and processes to a variety of audiences written and verbally
• Fluent in Excel – You have an ability to develop creative solutions with existing tools and are comfortable learning new technologies
