Your core responsibilities will involve corporate paralegal functions, including filings, registrations, and maintaining minute books. You will also assist with various legal tasks such as litigation management, contract preparation, and administrative duties, contributing to the efficient operation of the teamAccountabilities
- Manage corporate filings and registrations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain minute books, resolutions, and other corporate documents.
- Support litigation management by organizing case files, coordinating with external counsel, and tracking deadlines.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the Legal Services & Governance team, including calendar management, communication facilitation, and information gathering.
Skills, experience & requirements
- 2-year Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma
- Strong knowledge of corporate paralegal functions and legal procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Chat, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
