They are currently seeking a full-time intermediate Legal Administrative Assistant (Mandarin speaking) with experience in civil litigation to join their team.   • Organize and maintain digital files in line with firm policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with clients regarding file status and updates.
  • Coordinate and schedule discovery sessions and court dates.
  • Manage calendars and task reminder systems for meetings and deadlines.
  • Prepare court documents, including application records, books of authorities, and trial or appeal materials.
  • Draft standard correspondence and handle court filings.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in both Mandarin and English, including composing, editing, and proofreading
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow directions independently with minimal supervision and excel in a team-oriented professional setting.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and demands.
  • Familiarity with Worldox Document Management System is an asset.
