Location: LaSalle, QC – Montreal, QC

Job Description: As a lecturer in computer science, you are responsible for teaching theoretical and practical concepts related to information technology, guiding students in their practical work and evaluating their performance. It also contributes to the design of educational programs and the development of new teaching methods to promote student learning. Among the skills and notions transmitted, we find:

• Programming
• Database
• Networking
• Cybersecurity
• Internship management

Status: Contract – Winter 2025 sessionLocation: Lasalle College, Montreal, QuebecRESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan class sessions ;
• Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner ;
• Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach ;
• Administer and correct assessments ;
• Monitor each student and encourage success ;
• Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course ;
• All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;

• Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
• Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years;
• Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale.
