Job Description: LECTURER – NURSINGAs a lecturer in Nursing, you are responsible for teaching courses to students, creating course programs, and grading student assignments. The skills and topics covered include:

• Anatomy and Physiology I
• Introduction to the Nursing Profession
• Basic Nursing Care I
• Therapeutic Communication
• Microbiology and Immunology
• Introductory Nursing Practice Internship
• Anatomy and Physiology II
• Pharmacology
• Basic Nursing Care II
• Pathophysiology
• Basic Care Internship.

Status: Contract – Upcoming Nursing ProgramLocation: LaSalle College – Montreal CampusRESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan class sessions;
• Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient, and structured manner;
• Develop formative and summative assessments based on a competency-based approach;
• Administer and grade evaluations;
• Monitor each student and encourage their success;
• Be available to students to promote their development of the course competency;
• Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• You must be legally authorized to work in Canada;
• Hold a college diploma in Nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science;
• Teach or have teaching experience in the subject area for a full session within the last five (5) years;
• Have worked in a job or profession related to the subject area for at least two (2) years;
• Possess a valid practice license from the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ);
• Proficient in the language of instruction (French and/or English) both orally and in writing, as well as the technical vocabulary in the second language.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale.
