Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto)Description:The Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and the Department of Psychiatry of The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), are seeking to recruit a Psychiatrist – Forensic Psychiatry Division, to provide clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient program as part of the Forensic Division, Complex Care and Recovery Program. There are teaching opportunities with undergraduate and post graduate students, forensic psychiatry subspecialty residents and fellows, as well as potential opportunities for engagement in creative professional activities. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate or full Professor at the University of Toronto. Effective start date is January 2025 or shortly thereafter.The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field. The successful candidate will have a strong record of relevant research accomplishment.Remuneration is in accordance with the compensation of a psychiatrist in the province of Ontario. Estimated remuneration will be in the range of $250,000 – $300,000 per annum, commensurate with academic rank, qualifications and experience.
