Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, the Learning Coordinator leads the tracking, forecasting, and reporting of the talent management budget. Accountable for the coordination, reporting and day-to-day management of the corporate learning initiatives (e.g. the Tuition Assistance Program) while utilizing Human Capital Management System (e.g. Workday) functionalities. Provides administrative and coordination support to the Director including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, compiling notes, and booking venues.   • Responsible for financial planning, budget tracking and reporting of talent management programs. Manages expenses, travel arrangements, purchase orders and vendor contracts.
  • Performs coordination and administrative assistant services to the Director including scheduling meetings with internal and external partners, managing calendar, compiling materials. Provides vacation coverage and guidance to administrative staff within the division to support program administration.
  • Supports vendor relationships by coordinating with vendors to finalize program delivery details, materials, and structure.
  • Through Human Capital Management System, monitors program registration, tracking participation and initiates marketing as needed.
  • Supports with program administration of learning initiatives and leadership programs e.g. scheduling session, developing agenda, confirming participation of guest speakers, monitoring and responding to messages in chat during a live session, troubleshooting access requests.

About You

  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proficiency in preparing budget reports, conducting forecasting, processing program related financial transactions such as purchase orders, invoices, travel expenses.
  • Demonstrated administrative support experience to senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of Adult Education principles and curriculum planning with ability to utilize functionalities of Human Capital Management system such as Workday.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills to coordinate learning programs, tackle conflicting deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as financial system such as Oracle.
