TELUS is seeking a dynamic professional to join our Investment Returns Excellence team, as part of the TELUS’ Chief Finance Office.We’re spearheading a critical initiative to revolutionize TELUS’ business planning processes. Our goal? To dramatically enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and execution across the organization, directly aligning with our CEO’s vision for optimized planning methodologies impacting the return on invested capital (ROIC). In this pivotal position, you’ll be at the forefront of evolving TELUS’ business practices and your work will directly impact TELUS’ ability to make informed decisions, foster accountability, and drive continuous improvement for sustained success in a rapidly evolving business landscape.What you’ll doAs our Learning and Change Management Consultant you will play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation of TELUS’s Business Planning transformation roadmap. You will take charge in developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies, creating and delivering targeted training programs, and engaging stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption and continuity of new business planning practices, with a focus on Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) optimization.Here’s how

  • Change Management and Implementation:
  • Develop detailed change management strategies and plans tailored to the needs of TELUS’ business units, emphasizing the importance of ROIC in decision-making while minimizing disruption to business operations
  • Lead the implementation of change initiatives, maximizing ROIC improvements and adoption
  • Training and Development:
  • Design, develop, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and materials to educate teams on new business planning procedures, tools, and ROIC optimization techniques
  • Create and manage a centralized, accessible online repository of training materials, case studies, and resources focused on ROIC improvements and business planning for stakeholders’ continuous learning and reference
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communication strategy that keeps stakeholders informed about business planning changes and ROIC initiatives while establishing regular feedback to assess their impact and adjusting training plans based on the feedback
  • Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
  • Implement monitoring tools to track the effectiveness of new business planning practices and training programs, regularly review and refine change management strategies based on feedback and performance metrics, and ensure alignment of learning initiatives with strategic goals, all while focusing on their impact on and alignment with ROIC targets
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the business planning and ROIC functions

QualificationsWhat you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master’s preferred
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
  • 7+ years of proven experience in developing and executing change management strategies and design and delivery of various training methods
  • Strong understanding of business planning processes, ROIC concepts, and financial best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in change management, training tools, and financial analysis software
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex change initiatives within a large enterprise corporate environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt change management approaches to evolving business planning needs
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning in business planning and ROIC optimization
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a focus on linking learning initiatives to tangible ROIC improvements

Salary Range: $94,000-$140,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
