The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. RARE.Qc is a research network that aims to promote and facilitate collaborative research on rare diseases in Quebec, in order to foster scientific innovation and statistical clarity on the burden that rare diseases represent for the Quebec population.
To accomplish this mission, RARE.Qc is seeking a person that will foster connections between RARE.Qc members and develop knowledge translation assets. Reporting to the RARE.Qc Network Manager, the incumbent is also responsible for the management of our member database and the content of our monthly newsletter & website and will assist the Manager in planning the network’s annual meeting and other network initiatives.General Duties

  • Maintain the Network member database & mailing lists,
  • Develop bilingual content for the network’s monthly newsletter and source news & events from members and partners,
  • Support the planning of RARE.Qc annual meeting and other knowledge mobilization activities,
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings with network committees and working groups,
  • Collaborate with network members as needed to identify and act on knowledge mobilization opportunities across the network,
  • Assist the Network Manager in other tasks as needed.

  • Proficiency working in a virtual setting.
