Job Type: 12-16 month contract with potential for extension or other promotion opportunitiesOur client, an insurance brokerage, is seeking a Junior Insurance Specialist to serve as a client liaison, delivering prompt and professional service. This role is ideal for someone with prior customer service experience who has recently obtained their RIBO license and is eager to start a career in insurance.Responsibilities:– Set up and manage client accounts, process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
– Calculate renewal premiums 60 days prior to renewal.
– Handle refund requests and client queries via phone and email.
– Issue and manage certificates of insurance, and handle monthly reporting.
– Email or mail documents to clients, and ensure accurate documentation and client updates.
– Assist with program procedures and contribute to a professional office environment.Qualifications:– Previous customer service experience required.
– Knowledge of insurance products and regulations is a plus.
– RIBO license required.
