Location: Downtown Toronto – Hybrid (3 times per week on-site)
Salary: $43,000 to $46,000
Job Type: PermanentOur client, a boutique insurance brokerage, is seeking a Junior Account Manager to support their commercial team and provide excellent service to clients. You will address client inquiries, requests, and needs, acting as a key contact for their insurance needs.This role is ideal for someone with customer service experience or an insurance internship who has recently obtained their RIBO license and is eager to begin a career in commercial insurance.Responsibilities:– Process and invoice new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
– Calculate renewal premiums 60 days before renewal.
– Request refund cheques and issue certificates of insurance as needed.
– Respond to client inquiries via phone and email.
– Send insurance documents (policies, certificates, cancellations) to clients.
– Ensure all documentation is filed for monthly reporting to underwriters.
– Record all transactions in the system, attaching emails and updating activities.
– Maintain accurate client records and update contacts within client organizations.Qualifications:– RIBO license is needed.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
