Job Description: Join Us!Our team is looking for Journeyman Millwright for our Calgary location, AB.Join our family of diverse, talented, and dedicated people and become part of an industry leading company as we strive to be the most successful food company in the world.Location: CalgaryRequisition ID: 1381What we have to offerHourly rate: $40.95 plus shift premium with incremental increases.Frequent overtime availableShifts: Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts, Monday – Friday.Full benefits (health, dental, vision and disability) after probation.Main Duties:Performs all repairs, develop, and carry out preventative maintenance inspections, follows preventative maintenance schedule to sustain optimal performance of equipment and minimize downtime and costs in compliance with HACCP rules, JSA’s and SOP’s and other requirements.Production line troubleshooting, identify spare parts required and ordering of partsResponsible for troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime; acts upon an intense sense of urgency to on-floor calls and emergenciesResponsible for completing a work schedule in cooperation with departments and Maintenance & Production SupervisorsActs a liaison for contractors conducting repairs in the plantEnsures that all required documentation is completed correctly and on-time. i.e. Daily Time Sheets, pre-operational forms, preventative maintenance logs, temperature recording and equipment monitoring, work orders, etc.All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical, PLC Programming, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, fabricating and other areas as needed.Performs other duties as requiredRequirements:Valid provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate is required5 years’ experience in food packaging equipment and industrial maintenance experienceGood knowledge of electronics and PLC technologies and trouble shooting skillsUnderstands programmable controls and is computer literateAdditional Skilled Trade Licenses would be an assetGood writing and oral communications skillsAssess decision making qualities and work under pressureWork in conditions under 10˚C.Responsible for compliance to Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety and Environmental Standards at all times.Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesFast-paced environmentPhysically demanding – lifting up to 50lbsAttention to detailWork under pressureHandling heavy loadsHand-eye co-ordinationStanding for extended periodsProduction deadlinesCold/refrigeratedSofina Foods Inc.is a privately owned Canadian company headquartered in Markham, Ontario, Canada dedicated to providing great-tasting, high-quality food products for consumers.Our workforce is exceptionally diverse with professional opportunities across many functional areas of our business.Consider applying for one of our exciting opportunities today.#SofinaW1
