In this new role within the Product Operations team, part of the Client Experience and Product department, you’ll establish best practices, define success metrics, align strategies with key partners, and drive portfolio outcomes.
You effectively translate raw data into actionable insights that help teams understand user needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure the success of enhancements made to the journey. You will establish portfolio and journey-level key performance metrics to track progress and use standardized frameworks. As a self-starter with a passion and curiosity for problem-solving, you thrive in fast-paced environments. Known as an expert in your field, you’ll offer valuable data and insights to provide guidance on journey strategies and programs, collaborating closely with research and data teams to inform strategies and optimize client journeys and ensure quality data-decisions are made.Accountabilities
- Develops and reports on key outcomes (using standardized success measurement frameworks) across the full journey portfolio while using data to guide strategy and direction.
- Supports creation of standard practices, oversight and governance in strategic execution of journey data and metrics.
- Builds relationships and partnerships with the journey managers, leaders, research, data teams and key business partners to ideate on the data needs and sources that would be useful in successful friction point identification and overall journey success measurement
- An ability to utilize cross-functional data to correlate trends and identify potential strategic actions and to tell and visualize compelling client stories to diverse audiences (journey teams, product teams, marketing to senior leaders)
- Skillfully meets KPIs and insight targets; automating scalable data correlations, analysis and reporting at every opportunity. Advocating for best practice, implementing data tools and templates to create repeatable success.
- In partnership with the Director, work with leaders and executives to understand the insights learned and the direction the journey portfolio is moving and how Journey Operations can support them.
- You provide actionable insights to influence strategic planning at the senior leadership or executive level, leveraging established portfolio outcomes and relevant data and insights to support direction
- Trusted partner to product + business leaders and models how Journey Operations is a key partner in delivering customer and business value.
- You actively provide recommendations on what should be part of ATB’s tool “tech stack” and are a trusted advisor to leadership on how to evolve capabilities in service of better enabling your product partners.
- Familiarity with success measurement frameworks, KPIS, and OKRs and an ability to connect strategic goals to product specific metrics
- Applying business acumen and judgment when guiding decisions related to the product operation, portfolio or initiative
Skills, experience & requirements
- True thought leader in data analysis, mastering proactive and strategic data insights to inform strategic direction.
- A passion for being client centric and having that at the core of everything you do
- 360-degree influence — an ability to leverage data and clearly interpret and translate data to inform strategies and articulate them in a way that gains buy-in of peers, leaders and stakeholders
- Excellent technical foundation to create and share insights to inform strategy, in tools available to help with pulling or acquiring new data or data visualization. Looking for experience working with SQL, GCP/Big Query and Tableau, and familiarity (or ability to learn) Google Analytics, Figma, AVO, Mixpanel and documentation to support like Jira, Confluence and Miro).
- Intermediate statistical analysis (e.g. techniques such as linear regression and decision trees) are an asset
- Strong data analysis skills, you can see trends and insights and make connections to the “so what”, “now what”
- Experimenting and leading non-traditional data and insights story capability methods
- Familiarity with digital or product development would be an asset
- Flexibility- is able to promote consistency of practice while employing flexibility in approach to serve evolving requirements
- Strong communication skills (including written and slides)
- Creative problem solving – using creativity to develop new ideas and solutions to problems that haven’t been tackled before
- Collaboration-partnering with whomever is required to create a holistic and effective product
- Able to give and receive feedback-may need to have difficult conversations and robust assumptions using use data
