You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Full-Stack Application Developer, you will build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. • Analysis & Support: Evaluate requests to ensure stability and support of applications. Coordinate and/or execute implementation plans. Identify and resolve small to medium complex production problems. Monitor and analyze supported services and applications to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions
• Leadership Skills: Act as the application tech lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior team members by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
• Act as a SME: Review requirements and provide feedback on problems and provide critical solutions and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Provide estimates for assigned work packages and take the lead role in delivery. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved and SLAs are met.
• Manage & Influence: Lead coordination efforts in operational activities to provide optimal end-to-end solutions for clients. Identify proactive solutions for recurring technology occurrences to benefit the business.
• Strategy & Technology Design: Design, implement, configure, and manage solutions within the supported products, and services. Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for operational tasks.
• Design and Development: Perform and coordinate application activities. Design the application’s technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
• Strategic Planning: Lead multiple projects involving upgrade or migration of systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.

Who You Are

• You can demonstrate experience in: Java, Spring Framework, Angular, NodeJS, MongoDB. It’s an asset if you have some experience with cloud technologies, devOps like Azure, Kubernetes, Github Action, Helm
