If you dream of joining an organization that is small enough for you to be noticed, but big enough to provide you with a meaningful career, then we want to hear from you!Job DescriptionThe House of Commons Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the IT Product Delivery Operations Analyst position.As an IT Product Delivery Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in our Network Services team, responsible for managing IT releases and overseeing change management in a 24/7 support environment. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our network services run smoothly and efficiently. Your focus will be on implementing, controlling, and supporting both Production Test and Production Environments for specific Network Service technologies. Additionally, you will lead small to medium-sized deployment projects, identifying and solving moderate technology challenges as they arise. Your technical expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of network service delivery, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.Beyond project management, your responsibilities will include providing provisioning services that support various IT projects related to Network Services technologies. This involves hands-on tasks such as installing, configuring, and testing both hardware and software components. You will also be accountable for managing these assets on a day-to-day basis, ensuring proper maintenance and tracking. When incidents or issues occur, you’ll take the lead in researching and implementing effective solutions, not only addressing immediate concerns but also improving long-term service stability. Your technical knowledge will also be key in preventive maintenance and managing vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure. QualificationsEducation :

  • A degree from a recognized university in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) OR an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.

Experience :

  • Concrete, practical experience testing, deploying and supporting a Cisco network infrastructure including the utilization and support of network management and monitoring tools as part of on-going operations;
  • Experience in working with Firewalls and Load Balancers;
  • Knowledge and technical expertise in the application of the principles, concepts methods and techniques associated with the provision of deployment/provisioning or IT support services in at least one technology within the Network Services Domain;
  • Experience in delivering IT supports services or leading small work teams in projects requiring the deployment, standard configuration, change management and operational provisioning for Network Services technologies assigned;
  • Experience in installation, configuration, testing, support and operational management of technology(ies) such as: Voice Networks, Legacy voice, mobile and VoIP, Data network WAN, LAN, WIFI, Perimeter access technologies.

Assets :

  • Cisco CCNA certification or higher;
  • Experience working with an Enterprise VoIP Solution;
  • Knowledge of Quality of Services (QoS) – Cisco;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills;
  • Able to work under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
