Visit to learn more!Who will you be working with?As a member of Wabtec’s Invoicing team, the Invoicing Specialist will be reporting to the invoicing manager and work closely with the finance team. On occasions the specialist will need to lean on Wabtec’s material team for any billing information and respond to any inquiries around billing that our customer may have.How will you make a difference?As a member of Wabtec’s Invoicing Team on the Canadian Pacific Kansas City account, you will be responsible for data analysis and customer invoicing. The Invoicing specialist will be responsible for generating accurate customer invoices and performing in-depth analysis of invoicing\data to identify trends, optimize and automate processes, and support strategic decision-making within an office environment. This role combines strong invoicing skills with data-driven insights to enhance the organization’s billing and accounts receivable functions.With over 27,000 global employees Wabtec provides rich career development and growth opportunities for our employees.What do we want to know about you?High school diploma / GED / or at least 1-3 years of recent and relevant work history.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.A high level of attention to detail in juggling multiple duties/responsibilities.The ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal.Possess good communication skills.Strong Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with billing and collections best practice.Basic knowledge in finance and taxes.What will your typical day look like?Generate, streamline and automize invoice reports for each shop location on a weekly basis.Initiate workflows for all invoicing & credits pertaining to the Long Term parts Agreement between Wabtec and Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway.Collect all purchase orders from Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway for material invoicing.Follow up with all accounts receivable.Work with all Wabtec business units to rollup minimum spend on a monthly basis.Analyze material consumption during the Long term parts agreement.Support finance and invoicing manager with duties including but not limited to reporting, forecasting and cost analysis.Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and billing.Tracking cores due through reports & invoice as needed.Assist with customer warranty claims.Assist with warranty cost analysis.What about the physical demands of the job?High understanding of safety awareness and a strong safety culture.Wearing all required personal protective gear (hardhat, steel toe boots, ear plugs, eye protection) periodically.Typing and operating a computer.Experienced in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power Bi, Word, Power Automate)Experience in Oracle/SAP or other inventory control systemsWorking late shifts and ability to work weekends periodically.Ability to travel 15% of the time.You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.Who are we?Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail as well as the mining, marine, and industrial markets.
