If you are ready to shape the future of our intranet platform and make it the go-to hub for all our BDC employees, we want to hear from you!As part of the Employee Communications team, you will be responsible for managing, evolving and maintaining our company’s intranet, ensuring it is relevant and adapted to the right audience. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media, displays a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and excellent communication skills and is familiar with social media, video editing, copywriting and not afraid of exploring new ideas and means of communication.It is an exciting time to join us as we are overhauling our intranet with a new SaaS solution. You will play a key role in developing our new employee portal and be part of a dynamic, supportive team that thrives on innovation, and celebrates diversity and teamwork.CHALLENGES TO BE METManage the day-to-day of our SaaS-based intranet platform, including content posting.Utilize the platform’s various features and channels to reach the correct audience, ensuring that the messages are clear and relevant while eliminating irrelevant content.Drive creativity: Manage and design the look and feel of the platform—publishing content, designing layouts, and creating attractive visual content.Innovate: Constantly think of new ways to enhance the user experience and functionality.Edit: Video and podcast content for internal communications—turn raw material into polished content that engages and inspires.Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure the platform is a dynamic, evolving tool that connects our employees.Ensure content is web-friendly, accurate and searchable by optimizing SEO parameters.Analyze intranet usage and performance to ensure our communications have maximum reach, drive engagement, and reach the right audiences.Provide training and support to employee super-users on how to use the intranet effectively.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORMinimum 2 to 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or relevant experience in employee communications.Bachelor’s degree or certificate in communications, marketing or e-commerce, or related discipline.Experience with SaaS platforms and content management systems, as well as a with HTML and CSS, Photoshop or Canva.Excellent planning and organizational capabilities, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Good time management and priority setting skills in order to meet critical deadlines.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders.Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.Self-driven: you take the lead, propose innovative ideas, and execute them.Visionary mindset: You do not stick to your to-do list—you are always thinking of new ways to innovate and take our intranet to the next level.Bilingualism is a requirement (English and French).#INDHPProudly one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive and accessible environment where all employees can thrive and feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
