Our client in Winnipeg, MB is looking for an Integration Developer for a 6 month contract with the option for renewals. Candidates are required to be in the Winnipeg, MB area as regular onsite meetings will be required. Our client is looking to contract an Integration Developer for a implementation project. The assignment starts October 2024, for a period of 6 months with possibility of extension. The project will require integration with various systems at through the Boomi iPaaS Integration Platform. The candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and documenting new integrations according to requirements for the project along with any other connections required to existing systems. Working with the Manager of Integration Services, project teams, integration team and selected Vendor, the Integration Developer will play a crucial role in creating new integrations with new and existing systems. Your advanced technical skills and ability to excel in a team setting will enable you to deliver high quality software integrations efficiently and effectively.What you will be doing:Collaborate with other integration developers to design, create software enhancements, unit testing, debugging, and analytics for assigned applications/systems within Application Delivery, with a special focus on integrated systems and APIs.Required to build integrations and APIs using the Dell Boomi iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service)Review and provide feedback (peer review) on updated software systems completed by other developers.Responsible to coordinate with other IT departments and project team members on projects and relevant enhancements.High degree of communication, understand system requirements, collaboration with Infrastructure and Database peers.Follow agreed upon coding processes, best practices and standards; use appropriate code check ins, build & deploy tools, continuous integration practices and toolsetsDocument code changes, ensuring a high degree of coding principles are followed for code quality.Participate in scrum ceremonies and advocate for agile and Developer best practices; contribute to the team by supporting the development community through knowledge sharing; demonstrate design thinking to promote innovative solutions.Establish productive working relationships with team members within Application Delivery team and our external partnersProvide estimations on project activities and contribute to the scrum team, or project teams, depending upon assignment.Maintain proper versioning, build management, and installations in the Development environmentEvaluate options available and recommendations and review with Seniors and Managers.Become a software business process expert through gaining knowledge, staying abreast of technology trends, security, and using best practicesWhat you must have:Graduate with post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Development, engineering, Red River BIT program, or relevant software curriculumGood knowledge of data structure and correlation to the application needs.Good organization skills including management of multiple assignments, setting personal goals and targets and document managementAbility to perform manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skillsExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExperience with the web services stack and service transport is criticalWorking knowledge of a combination of any of the following technologies is considered an asset: DellBoomi iPaaS, JIRA, SQL, SOAP, XML, Linux/UnixFamiliarity working in Agile methodology is an assetFor more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
