Title of the Job: Inside Sales/Purchaser

Location: Victoria, BC

Job Description: About the Role :

• Provides technical support and service to customers
• Educates customers about features and benefits of ICONIX service and product
• Resolves customer’s questions and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Performs day-to-day purchasing of inventory, placing, tracking, and receiving orders
• Manages on-hand inventory with a focus on eliminating slow and obsolete (SLOB) product
• Administers and supports inventory cycle counts and yearly inventory counts for the branch
• Works with operations and sales team on policy and procedure improvement.

• Passion for sales and customer satisfaction
• A consultative approach to recommend products where needed
• Flexibility to help where needed within the branch
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Strong planning, collaboration, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Basic math skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy to process orders
• Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite

Who We’re Looking For :

• High school diploma required, post-secondary education preferred
• 3 years of industry-related experience
