Being a place where exceptionally driven and hardworking people want to work is how we deliver award-winning services to our customers and ultimately build customer value.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESEngineer and administer Middleware & Container Orchestration Solutions in on-perm and AWS architecturesStrong solution engineering and architecture experience in Middleware runtime platforms like WebSphere Application Server/ND/Liberty, JBOSS, Tomcat, APACHE, NGINXPreferred experience to develop, plan and implement immutable infrastructure with AWS, Terraform, Chef, Python.Experience in CI/CD environments and streamline deployments to AWS with Jenkins, Gitlab, and other toolsEnsure that the container orchestration platform (Docker/Kubernetes) is maintained properly by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, performance and system healthAssist development teams to migrate applications to Docker based PaaS platformBuild automation strategy migration & patching of Middleware products (JBOSS, WebSphere, Tomcat)Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuningStrong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data IntegrationInvolve in design and capacity review meetings to provide suggestion in Kubernetes Platform usageSolid knowledge of monitoring tools and fine-tuning alerts on datadog ,Splunk, APM.Providing naming conventions, Backup & Recovery and problem determination strategies for the projectsMonitor, prevent and troubleshoot security related issuesProvide strategic vision in engineering solutions that touch the Middleware spaceQUALIFICATIONSOverall 5-10 Years of experience in Middleware & Dev-ops System Engineering – JBOSS, Tomcat, APACHE, RHEL, UnixAbility to build and troubleshoot Docker containers, experience with Kubernetes, or other container orchestration is preferredPreferred experience in Automated provisioning of environments with Terraform or CloudFormationDemonstrated ability to build and maintain code repositories with GitSolid understanding of deploying and operating Linux variants in a containerized cloud environmentFrequent technologies used in this role would be AWS, Terraform, Docker, Python, Jenkins, Linux Shell Scripting, AWS CLIIn-depth experience in handling Middleware software MigrationsGood Understanding of Caching Solutions, Pivotal / Apache-Ignite would be an advantage.Must have proven prior experience in managing large middleware environments at enterprise scaleWell versed in generic administration tasks of managing Docker images, container networking and standard infrastructure maintenance tasks on Docker and Kubernetes platformMust have knowledge of Linux kernel options such as control groups and defining application groups to restrict resourcesGood Linux system administrator skills and TCP/IP network fundamentalsExpertise in building automation tools in any of the programming language such as Terraform, Chef, Python or GolangExperience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, APMConsiderable experience in implementing RBAC SecuritySupport 24*7 Model and be available to support rotational on-call workCompetent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating systemCritical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategyAbility to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.Willingness to learn new technologies/tool and cross-train your peersProven track record to automateRecruitment ProcessThroughout your application process, you may be asked to connect with us virtually or in-person.
