Job Description: Now Hiring: Human Resources Clerk (Competition #24-66)
Parkland County has a temporary, full-time Human Resources Clerk (Student Co-op) position available within the Employee Services department working from approximately January 13 to April 25, 2025. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Business Partner, the Human Resources Clerk assists the Employee Services team in the areas of recruitment and onboarding, records management, learning management, meeting coordination, document preparation and other general administration duties as required. The successful candidate will also have potential exposure to other processes, as learning opportunities, such as formal investigations, disability management and HR consultation.The ideal candidate would have the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by enrollment in the Bachelor of Commerce Human Resources Management Co-op Major program with an accredited University or College (unofficial transcript required with application).
• Minimum of two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote) is required.
• A general understanding of human resources principles is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a Class 5 Driver’s License. A current Driver’s Abstract must be provided.
