- Client Projects: Support client projects that enhance people and culture programming; relationship management is key; adapting to each client’s communication preference is critical. You will serve as the liaison between the client and Elevated HR, ensuring expectations are clear, and updates are consistent
- HR Support: Assist with HR operations at various clients, including onboarding, employee documentation, benefits administration, and maintaining HRIS records. Your attention to detail ensures accurate data entry and smooth processing of employee life cycle changes.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Support in crafting employee engagement programs that resonate with client values. You’ll help develop surveys, facilitate feedback sessions, and analyze data to measure engagement success.
- Compliance and Policy Support: Provide foundational support in drafting and maintaining client policies and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal regulations. You’ll help ensure that clients are up to date on new employment standards.
- Recruitment Assistance: Partner with the recruitment team to support hiring initiatives. You’ll participate in writing job descriptions, posting roles, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Project Management: Report on project plans, track progress against key milestones, and communicate updates to team members and leaders. You will be responsible for managing timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule, and preparing any necessary reports.
- Data Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing HR data to provide insights into trends, helping the team make data-driven decisions. This could involve turnover analysis, compensation benchmarking, or performance tracking.
- Quality Assurance: Review all programs and assets created by #TeamElevated to ensure that the values and core beliefs of each client are captured, and the program meets organizational needs. Ensure that final outputs are polished and ready for delivery.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support where needed, including coordinating team meetings, documenting meeting notes, and preparing reports or presentations for internal and client use.
On your resume, we ask that you demonstrate the following:
- Technical HR Knowledge: Projects/solutions you have experienced in implementation, areas of expertise you are most comfortable in as it relates to people and culture, and education you have received (either by investing in yourself at an institution or invested in yourself such as learning as you work). Please also outline which areas of HR you have not had experience in but would like to learn more in.
- Coaching: Outline your leadership beliefs and how you manage through conflict and other tricky situations, as it relates to people and culture.
- Project Management: Demonstrate the projects you’ve completed and the role you played in those projects. Let us know which ones stayed within budget and were completed on time.
- Quality Assurance: We’re looking for you to follow the instructions above. Also – we’d like to see few (read, no) errors on your resume that relates to spelling and grammar. And if you catch one or two in this job ad, it’s because we need you!
- Accessibility: Success in this role will require you to travel to Edmonton and Calgary, visiting clients in person. While we’ll reimburse mileage, options to go to both locations with two-weeks’ notice is a must.
In the interview, we’ll be asking you to demonstrate the following:
- Technical HR Knowledge: We’ll ask a series of HR questions we get from our clients and ask you to demonstrate your approach.
- Building Relationships: You must be able to build rapport with our clients quickly. So, we’ll be testing how you pivot and manage each of our very different personalities on the team.
- Project Management: We’ll get you to dive deeper into the examples you gave and get you to talk about your failures and moments of success.
- Quality Assurance: We’ll review our quality assurance process with you and ask you to make a simple suggestion on how to make it better.
- Values: We’ll see if you did your homework and ask you how your personal values will reflect in our organizational values.
