Our ability to deliver on this promise in the communities we serve through Canada and the US is possible due to the endless commitment of our colleagues in Canada and the US.Reporting to the Brand and Creative Chapter Lead, the Graphic Designer is a key player in the team as they will be overseeing the creation, production and updates of marketing materials (such as brochures, sales collateral, posters, in-store messaging, leave behinds, onboarding documentation, feature changes, products, campaigns, website visuals, videos, etc.) and deliver them to different internal and external stakeholders. The design team overall is also responsible for brand guidelines and brand toolkits.As part of the design team, each designer supports specific agile squads that each have their own needs and requirements. The portfolios are reviewed regularly and a strong sense of collaboration is expected between all designers to address all incoming requests and to ensure proper delivery. Designers are also expected to become brand leaders within the organization as well as the reference on how the brand should present itself consistently.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Take inventory of current marketing materials and make recommendations for updates and improvements.Update current marketing materials (print, digital and video) with updated copy (provided by our copywriters), images, layouts and proof points.Contribute to the creation of advertising concepts and their deployment on the company’s various platforms (website, retail, social media, etc.) and paid media plans (inserts, newspapers, channel grids, magazines, social media, etc.).Design various internal tools (procedures, vehicles, buildings, various displays, etc.).Work with external vendors in order to produce the printed material and ensure it is delivered properlyApply & update the brand book & guidelines and ensure all our internally produced items adhere to those guidelines.Provide support to key stakeholders’ campaignsPrioritize revenue driving activities to help the organization’s bottom line.Support other designers and especially graphic designers to continue to enhance the internal design expertise.Be an active member of the team by contributing to the prioritization meetings and collaborating closely with the other graphic designers in the team.Be a brand leader and ambassador.Perform all other related tasks.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSACADEMIC TRAININGMinimum of a DCS in multimedia integration or graphic designWORK EXPERIENCE5-10 years of relevant experience as a graphic designer, creating designs for goods and/or servicesExpertise in print and digital is expected ; expertise in video production is an assetExpertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is expected ; expertise in Adobe Premier, AfterEffects and Figma is an assetProficiency in MS Office and Google Suite applicationsTelecommunications experience is an assetPrior experience with agile methodologies is an assetSPECIFIC COMPETENCIESBilingualism (English/French), oral and written is expectedExcellent verbal and written communications skillsGreat attention to detail when developing and reviewing creative executionsSense of initiative, creativity and autonomyAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks at onceStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects based on overall business needsSense of accountability for achieving results and organizational successTeam player#LI-HybridLocation : Montréal, QCCompany : Cogeco Connexion IncAt Cogeco, we know that different backgrounds, perspectives, and beliefs can bring critical value to our business.
