Job Description: Position: General Labour/Inserter
Location: Ottawa West (Moodie Dr.)
Salary: Starting at $17.20 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Job Type: Temporary (possibility of extension for the right person)
Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Start Date: Monday October 7th 2024
Approximate End Date: 6-10 week contract (possibility of extension)Looking for a new challenge in a warehouse environment? Then, we have the job for you!We are currently recruiting General Labour/Inserter with one of our long time clients in Kanata. This is a temporary contract but could become permanent for the right candidate. Free parking is available, and the company is accessible by bus.The candidates are responsible for:– Insert books into a binder
– Shrink wrapping the final product
– Place final items into cartons for storage
– Assist with the operation of various inserting equipment
– Keep work area in order and staged with product
– Understand and can use computers
– Perform quality controlIn addition to this, they will also be required to:– Have their own protective footwear (steel-toed boots or shoes)
– Stand, lift and move around all day
– Lift up to 35 to 40 lbs max
– Have attention to detail and have pride in their work
– Speak and understand English and work well in a team environmentRequirements:– Minor mechanical ability
– Computer experience
– Warehouse experience
– Clean criminal record
