Headquartered in Montreal, it features a mix of established and emerging luxury brands across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, and Everything Else.Job DescriptionReporting to the Team Lead of English Content, the Freelance Copywriter writes the product descriptions for SSENSE’s wide range of products. Working on-site at our Studio in Montreal, they will ensure the best-in-class quality of our written content for our e-commerce platform, in line with SSENSE guidelines and quality standards. The ideal candidate has meticulous attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIESCopywriting – 95%Execute copy on assigned SKUs across a variety of brands and product categories, while respecting the established style guides and balancing with productivity targetsFollow SSENSE production processes, and flag and/or troubleshoot issues to ensure daily production completionAdminister departmental guidelines to meet the quality standard and upkeep SSENSE brand tone of voiceConduct research on terminology, brand signature and style name as neededManage time appropriately to achieve daily production deadlines and quality targetsReview and follow-up on SSENSE style guidesContinuous Improvement – 5%Consistently review daily copy feedback provided by Sub Editors to ensure quality and accuracyReview and follow-up on industry tools, techniques, and best practices in copywritingQualificationsREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in English Literature, Fashion Communications, Journalism or a related field2-3 years experience in professional writingFluency in English languageSKILLSDetail-oriented writerStrong research skillsAbility to work effectively to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environmentTeam player with great communication and interpersonal skillsCreative and agile thinker who is self-motivated and collaborativeProven ability to process high volumes of workflowKnowledge of fashion design, styles and designers, an assetAdditional InformationRate : 170$ / day
