Join CIMA+’s Buildings team, where you’ll collaborate with a team of passionate individuals whose expertise sets them apart. You’ll have the chance to work on a variety of building projects in the institutional, commercial, residential and industrial sectors. In an environment where collaboration and teamwork are key to success, you’ll be involved in the design, calculations and layout of fire protection systems.Our hybrid work mode means you can telework, work from one of our offices, or a combination of both options.Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of plans and specifications for fire protection systems
• Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established plans and specifications
• Carry out surveys and studies, and write technical reports
• Participate in the resolution of technical problems
• Write progress reports and contribute to the development of action plans
• Act as a reference for the technical team
• Prepare and monitor budget fees and make recommendations
• Participate to partial supervision of construction works
• Attend client meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• A minimum of three years’ experience in fire protection
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• Knowledge of Hydracalc, Autocad, Revit or Bluebeam software
• Proficiency in French (oral and written)
