Job Description: Field Safety AdvisorJob DescriptionThe Health and Safety team has an opening to support their operations and facilities team in North East British Columbia. The Field Safety Advisor will report directly to the HSE Manager for facilities, operations, and construction. The primary responsibilities include coaching and influencing workers and contractors on site to act in a safe manner and uphold a strong safety culture. This role is critical in transitioning the safety culture towards a more mature and accountable environment. The Field Safety Advisor will need to build strong rapport, communicate tactfully, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.Hard Skills

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Fort St. John, British Columbia.Work EnvironmentThis position would be 12-hour shifts, with a 2/2 rotation, and require drive-in drive-out. The sites are located in NE BC, around the Fort St John area, but area of residence is not an issue as long as the individual can get to site. Accommodation will be in camp when on site. The position will require the individual to use their own truck to travel between various sites. They must provide their own vehicle, computer, and phone. The position offers $1.12/KM mileage reimbursement and covers multiple sites.
