Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Continuing Care Division, you will provide leadership and oversight for the development of policy and legislation related to continuing care services. This includes oversight of strategies that contribute to the outcomes of quality of life, safety and quality of care, sustainability, seamless transitions and active partners and informed choices. You will be responsible to develop strategic recommendations, options, briefing materials and provide advice to senior leadership. Your excellent communication and influential skills will lend to strong networks and relationships with complex stakeholders and partners. You have experience leading strong teams through transition, and you demonstrate an understanding of government and department priorities.Qualifications
Success in this role calls for a progressive leader with a background that includes significant related senior management leadership experience. You bring a strong understanding of policy development, legal documents and instruments, and understand GoA priorities and strategic initiatives under the Alberta Health Refocus work. You bring demonstrated experience leading complex and transformational projects. You are able to work effectively with stakeholders to manage diverse expectations and interests. A respected leader with experience leading staff, you are committed to building strong lines of communication and trust as well as empowering your teams to achieve results through performance excellence. A related degree is preferred.Salary
$5,082.46 – $6,679.30 bi-weekly ($132,652 – $174,329 annually)Notes
