Then this role is for you!We are looking for a detailed and very organized Executive Assistant to support Senator Julie Miville-Dechêne in managing competing priorities in a demanding and constantly changing environment. As part of your duties, you will be required to work within tight deadlines, while managing an atypical schedule with professionalism. Your commitment to excellence and quality service is essential. The Executive Assistant will also demonstrate a keen sense of research, using revision tools and solid sources around the Senator’s work topics, such as labor law or the protection of women and youth.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including agenda management, meeting coordination and correspondence management;
- Conduct in-depth research on legislative initiatives, public policy issues and committee work;
- Draft and edit reports, notes, speeches and other documents;
- Prepare materials for Senate sittings and committee meetings;
- Monitor and analyze legislative developments relevant to the Senator’s areas of interest;
- Manage the Senator’s social media presence and public communications.
