If you love music and got excited just thinking about joining this amazing organization, we would love to meet you!Email Marketing & CRM Coordinator – 12 Month ContractPosting Closing Date: October 21, 2024The UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and one day to work virtually.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Audience Development, the Email Marketing & CRM Coordinator is essential in driving our email marketing efforts and optimizing CRM strategies to enhance fan engagement for our artists and UMUSIC brand. You will work closely with the team to coordinate email campaigns and support customer retention initiatives, leveraging data insights and segmentationHow you’ll CREATE:Email Campaign Management: Handle the daily execution of email marketing campaigns and newsletters, ensuring content is collected, designed, and launched in line with campaign goals. This will occupy 50% of your role.Content & Design: Use basic Photoshop skills to assist with email design, ensuring visuals align with branding and marketing objectives.Segmentation & Targeting: Work with customer data platforms (CDP) to segment audiences and personalize campaigns. Implement targeting strategies to optimize email performance and fan engagement.Fan Engagement Strategy: Assist with developing strategies and tactics that drive fan acquisition, retention, and long-term engagement through email and CRM platforms.Retention & Loyalty: Support the creation of personalized product recommendations, rewards programs, and loyalty initiatives aimed at increasing Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).Reporting & Analytics: Contribute to reporting by analyzing email performance and customer data, translating findings into actionable insights to improve future campaigns.Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and artists to facilitate smooth execution of email marketing and CRM strategies.If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you:You have 2-3 years of email marketing experience including segmentation, and performance analysis.You have experience working with customer data platforms for audience targeting.You have a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a creative mindset.You’ve got strong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Digital Marketing or equivalent work experience.Universal Music Canada is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and strongly welcomes and encourages applications from Indigenous Peoples, people of colour, women, persons with disabilities, people who are 2SLGBTQIA+, and people from other diverse communities.
