Job Description: We are looking for a Director, Global Digital Acceleration, to drive evolution and adoption of our leading-edge digital guidelines & standards to enable our Digital Customer Leadership ambitions. The Director, Global Digital Acceleration, acts as the lead facilitator, partnering with stakeholders to activate these guidelines & standards across the enterprise. To this end, you will work with Product Ownership, Technical Leadership, and key functional leadership to ensure we provide an exceptional customer experience, differentiated from our competitors, enabled by embedding the guidelines & standards into Manulife’s Digital Product Management ways of working.In this role you will:Lead planning, implementation, and measurement associated with the digital governance framework, as defined by Digital Customer GuidelinesOwn the guidelines & standards framework and develop a roadmap for continued evolution to support the evolving industry.Identify functional owners and partner with them to ensure guidelines & standards have supporting tools, practices and training created to support teams.Leverage latest ways of working to develop strategies and tactics for realizing digital customer leadership goals inside the organization.Govern the ongoing evolution of digital customer guidelines & standards in the organization.Stay connected to emerging trends and best practices related to digital product management.The ideal candidate is:A persuasive communicator adept at engaging executivesPassionate about emerging digital customer enablement technologies and their impact on user experiencesOrganizationally savvy with a knack for influencing action.Intellectually curious and thrives in ambiguous environments.Experienced with Executive-facing communication and presentation.Skilled with Stakeholder management and communicationWell versed in definition of outcomes, communicating progress, and facilitating planning meetings.Knowledgeable in agile ways of working and Human Centered Design (HCD) conceptsJob Requirements:5+ years of digital product management experience with a comprehensive understanding of digital engagementExtensive knowledge on digital practices and governanceProduct Management certification is desirable.MBA or equivalent degree preferred.Background in Financial Services/Insurance is a plus.#LI-hybridAbout Manulife and John HancockManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
