Job Description: Position : DevOps Security Engineer
Montreal QC
12 Months ContractThis role is within a dynamic security agile squad focused on Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and cloud adoption; responsibilities include:

• Automating on-prem infrastructure processes to implement/enhance DLP controls
• Enhancing DevOps practices within the squad including Infrastructure as Code, test automation, CI/CD, etc.
• Managing a global DLP security infrastructure and working with an array of security products such as Symantec DLP, Splunk, Microsoft Information Protection, Netskope
• Working with a range of risk teams to understand and implement security requirements
• Handling operational escalations and managing production incidents during on-call support.

Technical Skills
Must Have:

• Scripting: Python, PowerShell or similar
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD Pipeline, Test Automation
• OS Administration: Linux Enterprise Server, Windows Server
• Networking: network configuration and debugging. Familiarity with SMTP Protocol and mailing security practices. Familiarity with HTTP and web security practices
• Security Practices: Knowledge of critical cyber security controls. Knowledge of Authentication protocols and Encryption protocols
• Application Support: experience on a unix platform OR Unix System administration experience who is looking to move into Application Support.

Would Be Nice:

• DLP: Symantec DLP, Microsoft DLP, Netskope DLP
• Orchestration: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
• Database: Oracle, MSSQL, SQLite
• Data Handling: Splunk, Microsoft Dynamics, Hive, Archer

Professional Skills

• Experience working within Agile teams
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL)
• Self-starter with proven & demonstratable experience in technical & application support of enterprise systems
• Ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary technologies in a complex, regulated environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.
