Job Description: DescriptionJoin our teamThe TELUS CAF RPA (Corporate Affairs and Finance, Robotic Process Automation) team is responsible for a number of functions including product development, project execution, automation and maintenance, with a mandate of delivering common processes and technology across the Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance space.We are looking for a seasoned developer with significant experience translating requirements in end to end automations and maintaining these as the business evolves. This individual will need to continually develop their understanding of the business along with changes in technology which can be leveraged to improve the business function.At TELUS we believe that embracing diversity, equity and inclusion as well as diversity of thought leads to better business outcomes.Here’s the impact you’ll have and what we’ll accomplish togetherReporting to the Director, Product and Analytics, you will own the automation backlog and budget. You will also be a trusted business partner supporting maintenance and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to to understand the outcomes their business unit is looking to achieve
- Own the end to end development for assigned automation activities
- Maintain assigned automations in accordance with agreed upon metrics
- Continually groom existing automations looking for opportunities to merge remove or enhance existing automations
- Assist is business case design and provide solution options
QualificationsYou are the missing piece of the puzzle
- You have experience in product management and process design
- You have a bias for action and are outcome-oriented
- You are an expert communicator and can build strong stakeholder relationships
- You are a proven teacher and mentor
- You are independent, can multitask and efficiently manage multiple projects and asks, and engage leaders for support as required
- You are strong relationship manager who can build rapport with stakeholders and working teams
- You have a view to the future and can understand what the business needs to continue to evolve
- You are a fast learner who can understand new systems, tools, and processes
Required experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in Operations, Product Management, or Development University degree in Business/ Commerce, Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields
- Candidates without aforementioned degrees, but with a degree in any other discipline combined with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience developing process policies and driving alignment between disparate functions
- Strong and structured verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to identify and articulate problems, analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into executive-level presentations and recommendations
- Superior relationship and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to quickly establish rapport with senior leaders, peers, and working teams
- Experience in one or more of Python, Blue Prism, Power Automate
- Proven experience building and managing business cases as well as requirements gathering

- Supply Chain Management Consulting Experience
- Lean Six Sigma familiarity or certifications
Salary Range: $66,000-$98,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
