The Delivery & Interior Design Coordinator will work with the assigned Designers to design, execute and finalize the assigned projects look and image. At the end of the project, they closely monitor job deficiencies and are responsible of unit handover to customer.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist and work closely with appointed Designers to make sure the aesthetic elements are aligned to mandate and Project’s vision.
  • Ensure Design project respects budget and our standards.
  • Order materials in a timely fashion to assure their arrival prior to installation and, track progress.
  • In collaboration with the Project Manager, make sure information is transferred to contractor, delivery schedule respected and work standards are met.
  • Act as the first contact person for design questions and issues in the field. Work together with Designers to find answer and solutions to identified issues.
  • Create and manage lists of open decision items and the timetable that decisions must be made by and integrate with project schedule.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Project manager to document Design aspects as well as tracking budget and invoices.
  • Coordinate the units’ proper handover activities and works with Construction site coordinator in reviewing and correcting deficiencies before delivery.
  • Represent the Organization for Unit hand-over to property Management or unit owner at the end of project.
  • Act as a point of contact for each client as it relates to units’ deficiencies resolution.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • DEC or university degree in Design or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design.
  • Experience in a real estate/construction environment dealing with customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good judgement and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Rigor
  • Strong negotiation skills and diplomacy
  • Teamwork
  • Familiar with Procore and/ or equivalent construction management software is required.
  • Vehicle and valid Driver Licence Required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • To and between construction sites primarily in the Greater Montreal and surrounding areas.
