This is a full-time opportunity and will report to the Manager of Parts Sales Planning and Analysis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilize data to improve part sales, analyze market trends, and create overall business strategies based on data results. The successful candidate will have a direct impact on TCI’s parts and service activities and key business decisions.What We’ll Bring:Company & CultureA hybrid work environmentA work environment built on teamwork, flexibility and respectProfessional growth and development programs to help advance your careerA focus on respect for people and continuous improvementSummer Hours – condensed work week during the summerBenefitsCompetitive compensation package including bonusExtended health care and dental benefits effective immediatelyCompany pension plan with additional employer contributionsAssociate vehicle discount programReimbursement programs (tuition & fitness)Paid holiday shutdown and competitive paid time off benefitsSabbatical leave programWhat You’ll be Doing:Inform business decisions and strategy by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting After Sales data sets and providing data-driven solutions and insightsDevelop custom data models, visualizations, and algorithms to interpret data, assessing the accuracy of new data and data-gathering strategiesMining and analyzing data from internal and external databases to improve part sales, analyze market trends, discover gaps for new product development or overall business strategiesCreate predictive modeling to optimize parts sales growth and profitability, marketing campaigns, and customer experiencesCommunicate and coordinate with teams to implement data-driven strategies while measuring progressSupport all business sections regarding needs for and access to customer-related data assetsManage TCI’s Units in Operation (UIO) data for reporting, forecasting, and analysis; Ensure data is reported accurately and timely and data is provided to vendors, departments, and zonesMaintain Units in Operation (UIO) Dissemination Area maps and work with DSSO to ensure data is adjusted when there are dealer market area changesManage IT Demands and requests related to After Sales data for Service RetentionLeverage existing TCI data assets and support all functional business sections with customer-level After Sales Service Retention dataConduct scientific analysis, advanced data research, and trend analysis to derive new insights resulting in actionable conclusionsReview Customer Repair Order data to find trends, opportunities, and patterns; Provide recommendations to appropriate departments based on findingsCreate ad-hoc customer Repair Order studies based on requested criteria, providing data results and recommendations based on study resultsWork in an environment where subject areas may be customer-centric, vehicle-centric, service-related, dealer-centric, financial, and any combination of the aboveSeek trends in vehicle maintenance and repairs to support additional parts sales and service retention opportunitiesSupport Service Retention team members by assisting and educating on the use of data platformsWhat You’ll Bring:Formal education in economics, data science, technology, data analysis or related fields5+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)4+ years of experience in SQL, Python, Excel, and BI toolsFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google CloudAdvanced data analysis/mining and trend analysis skillsKnowledge of Canadian data security and privacy regulationsSkills to concert data insights to narratives and presentationsA desire to learn new techniques and technologiesFlexibility to work as a member of the team and as an individual contributorUnderstanding of automotive components and terminologyStrong analytical, organizational and Project Management skillsProven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficienciesMachine learning and data modelling experience is an assetExperience in a relevant industry is an assetAbout UsToyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
