As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.Meaningful work you’ll be part ofAs a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Working in collaboration with a team of cybersecurity specialists, plan and manage small to large complex client engagements on time, within budget while meeting client expectationsHelping our clients to define the IT & OT cybersecurity target state from a people, process and technology perspectiveClarifying and reinforcing the roles and responsibilities of select cybersecurity stakeholders, and the corresponding selection flowsProviding our sourcing recommendations for cybersecurity systems and servicesDeveloping capability models with our clients to identify the cybersecurity domains, subdomains related to cybersecurity services, sub-services, associated processes and technologies; create coherent groupings of these dimensions in different shapes and forms aligned with our clients’ needsDeveloping conceptual interconnectivity maps between security domainsProviding detailed processes views for security services in the form of process maps to support operationalization and enablement of the servicesDefining operational & management security metrics of each one of the security services to provide visibility about performance of the servicesSupporting identification of relevant security technologies to use as part of a cybersecurity programCoach and train new and/or more junior team members to become an integral part of the Security Architecture team, Cybersecurity & Privacy Consulting practice and PwC familyExperiences and skills you’ll use to solveAn interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.Essential experience: Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their experience in designing security IT and OT architectures for energy, power, mining, or industrial sectors.Essential skill: Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their extensive experience in translating a client’s business requirements into security architectures and visual process flows that reflect our client’s strategies and goals. This will include your knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman etc;Good oral and written communication skills, including business presentations, technical writing, and facilitating senior level stakeholder discussions. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate how they can communicate complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to senior executives.Effective skills listening to client needs, understanding what was already done, pain points and designing deliverables to fit requirements.Effective workshop facilitation skills.Track developments and changes in business, technology and threat environments to ensure they are addressed in our client’s security strategy.Proficient with SaaS services used to deliver architecture / enterprise architecture artefacts.Engagement management, including project planning, budget management, and resource management.A firm understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as those published by leading organizations (e.g. NIST, SANS, ISO etc.). Ability to translate framework to practical advice to clients.Experience delivering in scrum, agile,waterfall and other methodologies.CISSP-ISAP, CRISC, CSSLP, CCSP designations are an asset.Leadership qualities when working in a team and the ability to be recognized as the subject matter expert on Security Architecture when our client requires.Why you’ll love PwCWe’re inspiring and empowering our people to change the world.
