As a Customer Sales Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of driving success for the Haleon Customer Teams. Your mission will be to unleash the power of data through business analysis and uncover hidden opportunities that will skyrocket sales and maximize ROI.Job Purpose:Under the guidance of the Customer Sales Lead, and in close collaboration with customer National Account Manager (NAM) and Key Account Manager (KAM), the Sales Analyst is responsible for providing analytic and insight support to deliver the joint business plan goals. Areas of focus are consumption and share development, retail margin tracking, pre & post promotion analysis, major event management, and competitive monitoring & response proposals. The Sales Analyst works collaboratively with business partners including sales strategy, commercial operations, replenishment, retail development and key customer contacts to proactively manage the implementation and monitoring of customer sales plans. Key Responsibilities:This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR Sales Analyst career. These responsibilities include some of the following…Business Analysis

  • Assist in the development, execution and weekly monitoring of the Customer Joint Business Plan
  • Triangulate Customer POS, Nielsen/IQVIA, and other Syndicated data to identify opportunity gaps/proposed actions to resolve
  • Provide competitive promotion and in-store benchmarking analysis on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze and report Retailer Market trends and competitive activity
  • Distribute reports and present trends to internal teams and to the Customer where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with NAM/KAMs and Sales Strategy to action insights that improve in-store competitiveness
  • Provide Customer analysis in support of Sales Strategy, Sales Finance and supply chain initiatives, as required
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and work with the team, CDM to build the story
  • Support and develop tools within Power BI to enable turnkey analysis of account results
  • Maintain customer POS portal
  • Collaborate with other Haleon analysts to build continuity and sharing of learnings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to elevate dComm (digital commerce) business and identify opportunities

Promotional Planning Analysis

  • Evaluate seasonality opportunities for in store activities that deliver optimal Haleon brand presence
  • Leverage Nielsen Revenue Maximizer to report and analyze on planned vs. volume variances by utilizing trade event analysis reporting
  • Propose display assortment and quantities based on sales fundamentals and store cluster analysis, to improve customer acceptance and maximize sales potential
  • Perform / support post promotion analysis and provide insights and recommendations for future planning, including ROI for both online and offline activation
  • Monitor retail pricing analysis and propose adjustments (where applicable)
  • Maintain and support the teams with the Promotional Tools

Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Specialized Knowledge:A sound knowledge of the CPG retail landscape and channel structure.Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a minimum of 3 years CPG or Retail sales analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills and grounding in retail sales fundamentals
  • Proficiency in creating ad-hoc analyses/reports and an ability to integrate data from various sources into cohesive insight-based proposals
  • Proficiency in Nielsen, PBI or similar tools
  • Expert in Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, High proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Aptitude to learn new system applications
  • Working knowledge of Digital Commerce activation
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a long-term, continuous improvement mindset
  • Is self-motivated and exhibits business maturity, drive, and passion in a fast-paced environment
