Job Description: Job Description:The ideal candidate would be in charge of ensuring the successful execution of all corporate finance and accounting operations, such as reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, stakeholder relationships, record keeping, and developing a comprehensive set of controls to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and projections.responsibilities
- Provide leadership to Finance department by managing resources, overseeing accounting function, partnering with cross-functional teams, fostering relationships with vendors, participating as member of leadership team, and collaborating closely with President as financial advisor
- Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Responsible for cost management, analysis and reporting, including monitoring labor costs, purchasing, cash flow, production costs, sales trends, and implementing measures to reduce expenditures and waste
- Manage outsourced functions
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an
adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives * Ensure that
are paid in a timely manner; ensure awareness and communication of costs, prices, and accuracy of invoicing * Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Ensure that
are collected promptly * Act as back up to payroll processing, including preparation of reports, files, collection of hours, and resources

- 10+ years progressive experience in a management accounting role within a manufacturing/production environment
- CPA designation
- Experience utilizing Great Plains
- Proven success in a supervisory, management or leadership role in Finance departments.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders
- Strong writing skills for creating reports, correspondence, contracts, requests, bids, and other documentation.
- Knowledge of the appropriate tools for grading, analyzing, and assessing materials, equipment, supplies, services, and other commodities.
- Exceptional forecasting ability with strong analytical and interpretive skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments and key business partners
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Excellent time and project management skills
