Job Description: Job Posting:Are you ready for a tasty challenge?Role overview :The Continuous Improvement Leader (Manager) will lead and mentor a team of Continuous Improvement Engineers who will initiate and drive the execution of projects related to standardizing best practices, continuously reducing costs and increasing overall efficiency; all in a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.Location: Calgary, AB (On-Site)What Wonderbrands offers:

Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for providing leadership in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to help eliminate waste, reduce costs and improve efficiency in all operations, including manufacturing, sanitation, quality and maintenance
- Responsible for mentoring and coaching a team of continuous improvement engineers and cooperators
- Identify and lead several improvement initiatives/projects of high importance to the company
- Create an environment that fosters a culture of continuous improvement across all facilities, including innovation and integration of all relevant new technologies
- Work closely with all departments and levels of management
- Requires travelling to other locations
Requirements and profile :
- 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the manufacturing sector (food industry strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or related field
- In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement systems, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, knowledge of VBA an asset)
- Collaborative/mentoring management style
- Data analysis (knowledge of Minitab, Matlab and Python an asset)
- Six Sigma certification required
- Able to provide expertise and knowledge across the organization
- Ability to manage and execute multiple operational excellence projects
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Flexible to work different hours as required
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions
- Strong analytical skills, both written and verbal (English)
- Resourceful and with a sense of urgency to provide solutions
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
