The Lead will be responsible for organizing and maintaining data and records stored on the team’s SharePoint sites and other data and records repositories. The Lead will help identify records, and fulfill the duties of a Records Retention Coordinator as per CIBC standards. Additionally, the Lead will provide support in managing access to the systems controlled by Digital .com & Publishing.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.Key Accountabilities:Manage the Digital .com & Publishing Records Repositories to ensure they are structured and maintained to CIBC standards. Duties also include working with stakeholders to identify records.Perform quarterly reviews of team records to validate that they are being retained, preserved or destroyed according to CIBC records management policies.Assisting the SRO and Senior Manager, Digital .com & Publishing, Governance and Controls, with related governance activities, including records identification, access requests and attestations.How you’ll succeedSupport key regulatory and auditable processes: You will manage our teams’ records repositories and assist in quarterly validation testing for retention, preservation and destruction of records and documents, as well as supporting our access control responsibilities.Work with a Cross Functional Team: You will provide records identification and support for team-members, stakeholders, and management.Build Relationships: You will work closely and collaboratively with the Digital .com and Publishing team, Governance and Risk Controls, Internal Audit, as well as Lines of Business Partners to maintain high standards of records management across our digital properties.Communication – Superior interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to convey or present factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretationWho you areYou demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in records management, exposure to large data sets and good compliance knowledge.You have a degree/diploma in Data Management or a related field, and relevant work experienceYou give meaning to data.
