Job Description: A major Ottawa based General Contractor is looking to hire a new Construction Project Coordinator to join their team and assist in the project management/co-ordination of mainly ICI new build and renovation projects.Construction Project Coordinator – ICI – OttawaReporting to the Project Manager/ Construction Manager, the Project Coordinator will assist and support the Project Manager(s) on various projects. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for all coordinating duties and assist with the project administrative processes.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for all co-ordination activities for primarily ICI new build and renovation projects
• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Program and Policy and Procedures Manual.
• Assist the project team to adhere to the timelines and deliverables.
• Understand the contract documents
• Manage day-to-day activities for the Project Management team.
• Utilise Project Management software, to complete all project administration.
• Any other duties a required

• Engineering degree (Civil/Construction/Architectural) or technical college diploma in Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
• A minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
• On-site project co-ordination experience is preferred
• Experience working on ICI and more specifically light industrial/retail type projects would be ideal.
