Job Description: We’re on the hunt for a Commercial Account Executive to join one of the industry’s top firms.Responsibilities:

  • Be the insurance advisor customers deserve by promoting our extensive range of coverage options.
  • Manage customer expectations effectively, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Assist clients by providing knowledgeable answers to their coverage questions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay updated on industry rating systems and websites to better serve our clients.
  • Negotiate with underwriters from various insurance companies to secure competitive rates and comprehensive coverage.
  • Follow up on requested changes, renewals, and other related matters with insurance companies.
  • Review and analyze claims, discussing them with clients for optimal resolution.
  • Explain coverage details to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their policies.
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and follow up as needed.
  • Conduct sales presentations for new business and renewal opportunities.
  • Drive sales by effectively closing deals and cross-selling/up-selling to clients.
  • Engage in prospecting activities and seeking new business opportunities.
  • Prepare marketing submissions, proposals, and insurance summaries to showcase our offerings.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 2 General Insurance License.
  • Demonstrate a strong drive to achieve sales results.
  • Possess excellent relationship-building skills to foster customer loyalty.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products.
  • Show a genuine commitment to personal growth and development.
  • Exhibit outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Display strong organizational abilities.
