Our Account Assistant position requires a relationship-oriented individual with strong organizational and analytical skills. You will need to be comfortable in a customer facing role with an emphasis on telephone and computer skills. If you have a strong track record in customer service, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Support the management and sales team while providing a superior level of serviceAdminister, support, and complete policy changes within our company partner’s portals and websitesReview policies and recommend coverages based on individual consumer needsAdhere to the underwriting criteria set out by our broker partnersCo-ordinate and follow up on client documentsQualifications:
· General Insurance Level 1 license or greater from the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC)· 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role· Knowledge of Personal and/or Commercial Insurance Lines on a proficient level is considered an asset· Experience with insurance software (broker portals, customer management systems, etc) is considered an asset· Fluency in a foreign language is an assetRequired education:· High-school diploma or equivalentWhat We Offer:· Technology and head office support· Extensive in-house training and coaching· Opportunities to grow and developJob Types: Full-timeBenefits:Flexible ScheduleOn-site ParkingSchedule:Monday to Friday, regular office hoursExperience:Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
