Job Description: We have partnered with a machine shop in the Elmira area to recruit a Machinist to join their team permanently for the day shiftAre you passionate about repairing machinery?

– ensure machines are set up to the appropriate standard
– machine the required parts using CNC lathe equipment
– perform repairs as set out by client specifications
– use Fusion360 to design and machine componentsAdvantages
– $30.-$35/ hr (pending experience)

– straight day shift (7 am – 5 pm)

– use Fusion360 to design and machine componentsQualifications
3-5 years of experience working with manual machinery and cnc equipment
– 3-5 years of experience programming CNC machines
– experienced with CNC lathe machines
– experience with 3 axis CNC
– previous experience in a machine shop environment
– proven experience working with precision measurement tools and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
– ability to work as a team member and independently with the ability to take initiative
– licensed as a machinist 429A is an assetSummary
