By leveraging expertise in technical domains, the team develops programs and applications that align with PwC’s strategic technology needs, ensuring the firm stays at the forefront of the industry.Meaningful work you’ll be part ofAs a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Implementing the delivery of Cloud Infrastructure services to PwC Canada using Devops approachManaging IT initiatives from requirements gathering through to solution design and development, testing and deploymentServe as a reliable technical advisor to clients and project members, addressing complex technical challengesEstablish credibility and build trusting relationships with key business and executive stakeholdersInfrastructure as Code (IaC) Provisioning (50% of your time) includes CI/CD Pipelines, Pull Requests, Repository Management, Terraform Management, Terraform Modules, Documentation, Security Standards, and Secret ManagementOperations Improvements (30% of your time) includes Automation, API Integration, Error Handling and Troubleshooting, and Operational InsightsCommunication & ITIL (20% of your time) includes Change Requests, Incident Management, and Daily CommunicationExperiences and skills you’ll use to solveA university degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a business / IT related disciplineCloud certifications demonstrating expertise in Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, HashiCorp, etc.)Extensive experience working as DevOps EngineerAbility to make well-informed decisions under pressure, weighing risks and benefits while considering the impact on businessAdaptability to navigate changes in priorities, technology, and client requirements while maintaining high service quality and efficiencyDemonstrated experience with Azure particularly Infra ProvisioningDemonstrated knowledge with Cloud services and offerings across CSPs (Microsoft, Google, AWS)Experience and knowledge of Cloud resources across IaaS and PaaSDesign pipelines and configurations to support automated provisioning of Azure based infrastructure and services using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Expert level understanding of Terraform and GitHub, GitHub ActionsUnderstanding of Cloud licensing and cost modelsGood understanding of REST APIs, ODATA and sync vs async communicationStrong understanding of cloud native operations, technologies, principlesPwC Canada is committed to cultivating an inclusive, hybrid work environment.
