Job Description: Job Title: Class 3 DriverLocation: Vancouver, BCDelivering products to customers: Vancouver, Richmond, Hope, Surrey, and Langley.Shift Details: Class 3 Driver

• Start at 6 AM and finish between 2:30 PM and 5 PM, depending on the day’s deliveries.
• Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Salary- $33.24 per hr.Key Responsibilities: Class 3 Driver

• Safely operate a Class 3 vehicle (Automatic Transmission) to load and deliver bakery products to customers in Vancouver, Richmond, Hope, Surrey, and Langley. Most routes are within 50-70 km one-way, with occasional longer trips.
• Load trucks in the morning and deliver skids to customers. Some deliveries require hand-bombing products onto pallets, while others involve dock-to-dock delivery, with customers handling the unloading themselves.
• Use manual or motorized pump trucks (one is provided on the truck’s tailgate) for unloading.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck remains in safe working condition.
• Complete approximately 10 deliveries per day, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous during deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Additional Responsibilities: Class 3 Driver

• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
• Assist with minor equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and handle physical inventories.
• Repack, re-box, and label cases as per customer instructions.
• Repair damaged goods and shrink-wrap pallets when necessary.
• Coordinate with other departments, particularly customer service and maintenance.

Qualifications: Class 3 Driver

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clear Driver’s Abstract (current-dated).
• Must have 2 year of commercial driving experience and be physically capable of lifting up to 44 lbs.
• Must possess safety boots and basic computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Capable of standing, walking, and handling repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
• Ability to follow directions and prioritize safety.
• Must be able to manage stress from tight scheduling and shifting priorities.
