We are passionate about continuous improvement and operate with high-integrity, motivated by our desire to do the right thing for our clients.As a Claims Support Representative, Bodily Injury you will work in collaboration with claims representatives and other key stakeholders to provide high level investigation support through internal and external systems on bodily injury claims and claimant background information while documenting findings according to our best practices.How you will create impact:Utilizing internal claims systems and external tools to complete advanced desk bound investigation of files referred from Bodily Injury team members.Searching social media, online sources, public information and completing Consumer Insurance Search (CIS) and Autoplus searches as required.Collaborating with claims staff and other internal and external departments through the investigation process.How you will succeed:You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.You’re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers.To join our team:You have 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry or related field.You have a post-secondary education.You are or are willing to work towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.Having previous experience in desktop investigations is considered an asset.Having knowledge of bodily injury claims process is considered an asset.What you need to know:You will travel occasionally.You are required to have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.Detail oriented work that requires a moderate degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.What’s in it for you?Training and development opportunities to grow your career.Flexible work options and paid time off to support your personal and family needs.A holistic approach to your well-being, with physical and mental health programs and a supportive workplace culture.Paid volunteer days to give back to your community.In addition to our competitive salary and incentive programs, eligible employees also benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package including group retirement savings plans, pension and benefits (e.g., health and wellness, dental, disability and life coverage), mental health support and an employee assistance program.
