The ideal candidate is someone with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. If you are a knowledgeable, committed, and driven individual, this position is for you.
- Preparation and analysis of environmental samples
- Provide customer service to clients
- Responsible for the data reported by the laboratory
- Ensures that QC standards are implemented, understood and administered, as per company policy and to meet ISO 17025 requirements
- Establishes or adjusts workflow to meet turn around time scheduled
- Assist in Laboratory internal/external audits
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science of Chemistry; OR equivalent;
- Work experience in a laboratory setting;
- QC experience in a lab setting is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task;
- GCMS experience;
- ICP Experience;
- XRD experience;
- Must be willing and able to work extra hours and weekend when needed to meet business demands;
- Work hours 7:30 am-4:00pm Monday – Friday (potential overtime as needed).

- Job Type: Permanent / Full-time (40 paid hours/week);
- Hourly Wage: $31 to $37 upon experience;
