Job Description: Position: Certified Forklift Operator
Location: Ottawa
Salary: $21.09 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm
Training: First 2-3 weeks would be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

– Valid Forklift license (in-house license accepted)
– Extended Reach lift truck experience required (double pallet) – mandatory
– Experience with Counterbalance
– Experience with bar code scanners and electronic inventory management using a tablet or PC (an asset)
– Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel and reach for the duration of your shift
– Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbsJob Description:– Loading and unloading of freight using a forklift
– Shipping and receiving
– Staging freight in double deep racking using the Reach truck
– Order picking
– Preparing paperwork
– Performing inventory control
– Performing cycle counts
– Using scanners
